We’re a Canberra-based father-son partnership.

Solar Flair Homes design, engineer and build custom low energy homes. Our houses are site specific to optimise local environmental space heating and cooling.

Our homes are filled with natural light and are innately stable in temperature and humidity. We then collaboratively enhance the owner scope to inspire a better home life.

We are based in the temperature extremes capital of Australia, Canberra. Our homes are purpose built for cold winters, hot summers and perfect equinoxes.

We have evolved the robust and durable brick veneer construction with complete insulation of the house thermal mass. This makes for comfortable, forgiving solar passive house, that’s tradie friendly for a market average price.

Who we are:

Solar Flair Homes is a partnership of father and son engineers Brian and Bill Chadwick, BE civil UNSW, ACT Building Lic.2012951 and BE Process U.Syd, Cert.IV Building CIT respectively. Brian’s expertise is structure and Bills expertise is heat transfer.
We have the combined experience of over 60 years in engineering and construction in the partnership of Brian and Bill Chadwick.
